I think that the most important thing to remember in from Tienanmen square is the amount of people that protested at one point in the protest their where more then 1 million people protesting. it is also important to remember that the Chinese government deployed more the 10,000 tanks and over 200,000 soldiers to break up the protest.

I like the first picture you used, showing how many soldiers were there to stop the students. I feel like they had one soldier for every one protester.
ReplyDeleteI also found some of these same numbers as my facts and I find it very fascinating how many troops were deployed to stop so many protestors. I also really liked your first picture. It is a very moving picture.
