Exploration 4

The Tiananmen square massacre also known as "June 4th" struck me in many ways. From the loose casualty facts to just the central idea that the meaning of Tiananmen translates to "Gate of heavenly peace." This day and massacre stood for strictly liberty and ended in not only a ounce of blood being dropped but gallons following. Another thing that caught my eye was the fact that this protest was blocked out as much as it possibly could have been as opposed to now where the protestors can show every little bit with social media.

The aftermath of a tremendous slaughter as tanks roll through leaving nothing but a mere aftermath.

The first clash to police stopping and taking force as they feel they must. This idea is exactly how it started before.

  1. I loved the caption you used in the first picture. "The aftermath of a tremendous slaughter as tanks roll through leaving nothing but a mere aftermath." It shows the true destruction the Chinese army created to the city and its people.
