Preston Wilkin: Exploration Four

I think that the most important thing to remember in from Tienanmen square is the amount of people that protested at one point in the protest their where more then 1 million people protesting. it is also important to remember that the Chinese government deployed more the 10,000 tanks and over 200,000 soldiers to break up the protest.

This image helps to illustrate the magnitude in which the Chinese army was deployed to Tienanmen square.

This photo helps to show a glimpse of the magnitude that the protest reached. it is effective in showing the number of people that where involved.

  1. I like the first picture you used, showing how many soldiers were there to stop the students. I feel like they had one soldier for every one protester.

  2. I also found some of these same numbers as my facts and I find it very fascinating how many troops were deployed to stop so many protestors. I also really liked your first picture. It is a very moving picture.
