  1. I loved your presentation! I love old movies and I was almost ashamed of myself when I realized I have never heard of this movie, and what an amazing movie at that, I will for sure what it now. I thought you guys did a great job at describing why the movie was so controversial for it's time while also being groundbreaking. I was really sad we weren't able to see the movie clip, preparation is important. Overall, great job.

  2. One thing I loved about your presentation is that after I heard it, I wanted to watch it. I'm very intrigued when it comes to different angle shots in movies because that's something you don't see in all movies and I personally believe that's sometimes the difference between good movies and great movies. It's all on how it's presented and you both did a nice job explaining that! I also loved how you two bounced back in forth in your presentation. You both talked for equal amounts! That's one thing that always stands out to me! So, nice job with that!! One thing I would have liked to seen is the clip play because I wanted to see more of the angles and make-up you both were telling us about. But sometimes that happens so overall nice job! I thought your icon was very interesting!!

  3. I had never heard of Citizen Kane before so your presentation was probably one of the newest for me. I enjoyed how you guys seemed to really have your information together and you guys took equal time to share the presentation. I enjoyed learning about the art cinema narrative, and although your videos didn't work, I still thought the idea of it was really interesting. One thing I would've really enjoyed, was hearing what you guys had to say and maybe a little bit of opinions, because I feel like there was a pretty hefty amount of reading from the powerpoint, and I feel like that took away from us focusing on you guys because a lot of us were looking at the board, kind of reading for ourselves. I learned a lot from your presentation though, so good job!

  4. I thought your presentation was very interesting to learn about. I had heard of citizen cane before but I didnt know what it was until your presentation. I learned a lot from it and I thought you did a very good job in relaying information. I thought it was interesting how they changed the filming industry by working with different filming techniques. I thought you both did a very good job, and if I was to give constructive feedback, if any, it would be that there shouldn be so much reading from the powerpoint. But, it didnt bother me that much. Good job.

  5. I really liked the way you guys setup your power point, I thought it was interesting that the movie portrayed a real person, but didn't use his real name or anything. The only thing I would say is that I'd try not to just read the slides next time, maybe explain bullet points or something.

  6. I loved the way this presentation went, like the way you explained how the makeup was the used for the aging process. I was really interested in the camera angles and lighting and I was very sad when you couldn't show the video of them. The one thingI would have changed would be to not read directly off the powerpoint but other than that I thought you guys did an awesome job!

  7. Citizen Kane is a movie that i have heard about but not really learned about so thank you guys for that! Your presentation was very neatly organized and i loved the media you provided as well. I wish your guys' video would have played because after all the talk i really wanted to see that scene so much! This film was just a movie i had heard about and now it's a film that stands as a symbol for reasons such as its angles to its historical significance. Awesome presentation and once more thank you!

  8. I liked this presentation because of how you guys talked about all the different techniques used to film the movie. I very interested in cinematography and I think it's really interesting about the unique techniques they used in the movie. I think the presentation could be if you guys read off the power point slides less and maybe talked more about some of the comparable movies of today.

  9. My favorite part of the presentation was how well you recovered from the video not playing. That was nicely done and you did not lose the interest of the audience. I like how you explained the pictures. I learned a lot from your presentation. If I had one complaint it would be that maybe not read directly off the slides as much. Awesome job!

  11. I have never watched it but now I really want to. I like the fact that it is based off of a real person and how that fueled its popularity. Even though your media malfunctioned you kept flowing. Liked the powerpoint but it was more of the complete project as opposed to just am outline. Nice job though.

  12. I never really understood how movie are made and everything that goes into them. You guys explained how this movie used revolutionary make up and camera ideas that showed why this movie was so iconic to movies of today. You did a very good job recovering from the video not playing and explained it so well I could picture it in my head. Honestly I don’t have any negative feedback. Great presentation!

  13. I had never heard of this movie until your presentation. I don't know how because this movie was very interesting to me and your presentation made me want to go and watch the movie. I really enjoyed how you explained all the different things that this movie was the first to do. Such as, the camera angle aspects. If i had to change one thing it would be that you did not read of the slides as much.

  14. You guys did a great job. If your video had gone off, you guys would have had one of the best presentations out of the whole class. I feel you really knew what you were talking about and I felt like you both actually cared about the subject. I really liked how you described the filming techniques that the movie introduced. The only critique I could make would be to upload your video to youtube, so you can access it regardless.
