  1. I really like how you guys made the presentation all about the respect and honor that Veterans deserve! I think that it was really interesting how you included the number 21 throughout the presentation, because I didn't know that it had that big of a meaning. I also enjoyed how on every slide (almost every slide) you guys had an image representing just how important the Changing of the Guard is. If there's something I would've done, would probably be to just narrow down the videos, or put various clips of a video in. I felt like that kind of took away from your guys' presentation because it cut back the amount of time you had to actually present. Aside from that, you guys did a really nice job!

  2. I really loved how you guys, at the end of the presentation, put thank your troops. I believe that not enough people thank the ones who fought for us. I also love the videos you put on your slide, I have never actually been to The Changing of The Guard but those videos helped me to understand exactly what happens there. I also found it really interesting that they use the number 21 so strictly. The one thing I would have changed would maybe be not to read off the powerpoint too much but over all I thought your project was great!

  3. I really liked your presentation, it was well thought out and flowed very well. I liked how much you stressed the importance of the ceremony and what it means to the men and women who are fighting for us. As well as your call to action to have us go out and thank a soldier for their service. I have seen the Changing of the Guard once before this but I never knew that they had to look a certain way (in terms of height and weight) as well as the number 21 (for the steps taken and seconds they must wait). The only criticism that I have for your project is that the video and audio clip could have been shown together just in one video clip as opposed to two types of media. Other than that it was great!

  4. I really enjoyed your presentation and how you thanked our troops. When you talked about it being a life changing experience I completely agree. I liked how your videos really made you feel like you were there and understand what you’d see if you were there. I liked how you at the end asked the audience if they had questions and also thanked the troops. I would have talked about why the soldiers do the walk and what the tomb stands for and the basics of the history of it. I really liked your presentation and how you showed you really know your stuff and feel for the troops.

  5. I like how organized and well thought out your presentation was. It had good clips, pictures, and explanations of what was going on. If I had to change anything, I wish you guys would have stitched the clips together instead of playing them at separate times.

  6. I really liked how you had all the different parts of the changing of the guard in different videos. I have never actually seen the changing, but I have been the the tomb of the unknown soldier. Your delivery was pretty well done and you were clear. If I had to tell you to improve on something it would be to not read as much straight off of the slides.

  7. The videos were good for the presentation, but as you pointed out it is much better to see The Changing of the Guard in real life as I have. I liked your comparisons to military funerals and the end of the presentation to honor our veterans. I really liked how you also put in some neat effects when you changed slides during the presentation. I would have liked to have seen a video which shows the entire walk that the guard does while guarding the tomb so everyone can have a sense of what happens.

  8. This presentation was very well but together and i really liked the videos, also the video showing how serious the training and time it takes to master the ceremony. Also the check list and requirements needed to participate in the ceremony seems really intense and strict.

  9. I really felt like you guys knew what you were talking about. You did a great job at keeping my attention throughout. I did not know about this event before, and I feel like you guys interested me in it. The only critique I can make is a better explanation of what the event actually was. You guys definitely showed the significance of the event, but I never really understood exactly what was taking place.

  10. The thing that I found the most interesting is that George Washington is the original owner of the land. I have had the chance to see it in real life but had no clue about everything being based off of the number 21. I liked the audio at the beginning. That set a cool mood for the whole presentation. I liked your call to action as well. My only thing is that there is so much to talk about you left out some stuff to fit in time. Other than that great job.

  11. You guys seemed like you enjoyed learning about your topic, and i did as well considering my fathers parents are buried at Arlington. I like how you included the clips of the changing of the guard, it was cool to see. The only thing i would change would be to not read from the slides so much, other than that, good job!

  12. Visiting that actual sight and with my father there as well and him being in the military its something you have to respect and appreciate the traditions and values that go along with not only this ceremony but also the whole cemetery and area. One thing that I would have emphasized more was the values of the changing and why we do the no man left behind and how that relates to the gaaurding of the unknown solider.

  13. I remember visiting the site and it was really a powerful thing for me. I really liked how you guys gave the history of the place and how important it has become. I would have liked to know things like how many reside at Arlington and who all is buried there. good job

  14. I thought you guys did an amazing job. You really took advantage of all types of media; powerpoint, audio and video. I really have a understanding of what this is now, because beforehand, I had no idea. I loved the entire powerpoint and how you guys wore red, white and blue (very creative). I found it amazing how ridged and professional the entire ceremony was. You had a lot of information, even down to the time and dates of when the changing of the guards took place. I also loved how you thanked the veterans at the end, very nice. At times I did become confused with the history about the cemetery though. I was confused on when they started burials, it was either during Washington's office or at the start or WWI or WWII.. Overall though, great presentation, I could tell you both worked really hard.

  15. I really enjoyed watching your presentation and listening to it. I thought you both did a very good job in relaying the most important information while also utilizing your video and pictures very well. I thought the most interesting part about your presentation was that everything was based on the number 21 because I didnt know that they did that and I am curious as to why. I didnt really see anything wrong with your presentation, but I would have liked to know why they used the number 21. Great job though..
