  1. I really thought your guys' presentation was very informative. I am not a big gun-person overall, but I thought your presentation could justify the thrill and skill that goes behind shooting a gun. I enjoyed how you guys incorporated the fact that the gun that John Browning developed changed how we fought wars and how it created successful innovations. I think the only thing that could've improved your presentation would've been if you would've talked just a little slower. But then again, you guys had a lot of information, and you had to make the most of the small amount of time you had! Good job overall :)

  2. I found your presentation very interesting. I really enjoyed listening to your presentation because you broke everything where I understood it perfectly, considering I'm that knowledgeable about guns. I found it really interesting that John Browning left Winchester Repeating Arms to start up his own business. I like that he was an entrepreneur and a very successful one at that. I loved the videos that you chose because they really broke down what you were trying to explain. One thing I would have liked to hear more about is the guns being used for hunting. That would have been a nice touch on your presentation. Overall, very nice job.

  3. I thought that your project was very well done, I could tell that you guys know your facts about Browning. I loved that you guys barley had any words on your powerpoint and you were just throwing out facts that you guys knew. I also really loved that you put videos of the two different guns shooting, it really put it in perspective for me that the BAR really did improve the wars. One thing that I would change would be to maybe show how Browning's guns are used for hunting and not just to improve wars.

  4. I thought that your presentation was very interesting. I am not really knowledgeable about guns and the history behind certain makers or models so this presentation helped me learn more about it. I really like that your presentation was mainly from your memory, there weren't a lot of facts on the power point so it all came from what you know. The only criticism that I have is that I would have liked to learn more about how Browning's guns are used for hunting, I have seen the logo a lot in outdoor stores like Cabelas and never knew the company name for it. So learning about that as well as how popular of a brand it is with hunters would help as well, great job.

  5. I really found your presentation very interesting. I liked that you pretty much only had picture on your slide and knew all the info without notes. I learned a lot about Browning that I didn’t know before. I liked your use of media showing a regular bolt action rifle compared to his full auto. The only thing I didn’t like is whenever there were words on the slides, you read the slides. That’s the only thing I would change. Other than that I really liked the topic and presentation.

  6. I found your presentation one of the most interesting ones. Anything that has to do with iconic weapons usually catch my attention. I didn't know that the m1911 was invented by Browning. I never made that connection since the name didn't have brown in it. If I could change anything about the presentation, I would have tried to stitched together the two clips you used for the weapon fire rates. So, it would have been a smoother transition.

  7. This presentation was interesting. You had videos showing comparisons of the BAR to other types of guns, which I found to be really cool to watch. I would've liked to have seen some more videos about how these types of guns are used in hunting. It was interesting to learn that John Browning started his own company and became very influential in gun making. Overall this was an interesting presentation.

  8. This topic I found the most interesting out of all of them. I hunt and it was very informational to find out how these weapons were created. I had no clue that Winchester had screwed him over like that and it was nice to see he ended up succeeding. If I had to change one thing about your presentation it would be how fast you guys talked and went through it. sometimes it was hard to follow.

  9. I really liked your presentation. I definitely showed his influence in the way wars were fought and his influence on the gun industry. I did not know much about Browning, so you guys did a great job teaching me about him. I understood why he was an icon. I would've liked to see more about the 1911, but other than that I really liked your presentation.

  10. John Browning is an awesome topic. I loved how you talked about the inner workings of the guns and how they functioned and the rolls they played. I liked the technicalities. I found it interesting how one of the most famous gun smiths is a mormon. You were very knowledgable about your topic and you had so much to say that you said it very fast. It was hard to take complete notes due to the speed. Other than that great job.

  11. I like how you provided a good basic history. I also really liked how you compared it to modern day. Your videos you used were very helpful. The presentation really flowed nicely and you could tell that you guys really knew what you were talking about. You also explained all the pictures you used really well. If I had to change one thing at all it would be that you slowed it down a little bit, but that's just being picky. Really great presentation.

  12. Something i really liked about your presentation was the clips. It really showed how different the automatic gun made it; so much easier and quicker. Something i learned was that browning left winchester to start his own company. The only thing i would have added was how browning's guns have influenced hunting.

  13. What I really liked about your presentation was how you compared browning to Microsoft and apple and how he would have been the Steve Jobs, because during that time, that is something so innovative like apple was. The only thing that i would have shown more today his how his gun legacy for hunting as well as been carried on till this day.

  14. I liked your guys presentation especially as an avid shooter myself. I really liked how you discussed about how his guns changed how battles were fought and won and how his legacy goes on. I would have liked to see more of his hunting and marksman geared guns, a little more of the non-war side of his buisness. good job

  15. What an neat presentation. I have never been into guns and know next to nothing about the mechanical fixings and workings of a gun, but I thought you guys did a great job at explaining Browning's guns. I loved how you compared the old rifle with the ones Browning made, it helped me understand more clearly what you were saying, because gun lingo goes right over my head. I liked how you not only talked about how Browning made the gun but also the history behind his company and how it is still successful today. At times, words were spoken so fast I had a hard time jotting down notes. I would have loved to see and learn more about his company and everything he provides to the public, I should of asked if you can just walk in and buy such an extreme gun or if it is only military approved. Overall though, very interesting.

  16. I really enjoyed listening to your guys presentation. I have been very familiar with browning shotguns with hunting, but I found it very interesting to learn the history behind the guns. I thought the most interesting part about the presentation was how he created the self cycling aspect of guns. I thought that the presentation was awesome, just maybe talk a little slower next time. Great Job though.

  17. I had no idea why this gun was called that. I mean i figured that i was named after someone but i had no idea who. The only reason i knew anything about this was because of playing call of duty. I really learned a lot about your topic and was very impressed with your presentation. Great job.
