  1. Hey! I was hesitant about this because I have never been a big country music fan, but I never knew Johnny Cash was such a unique individual and I really enjoyed your presentation. I liked learning that he was such a giving back man. How he stood as an advocate for equality, stopping child abuse and attending prisons to perform was awesome. You guys did a great job at expressing/explaining that. Your preparation was a bit sporadic and I felt bad for you, there was a bit of repetition too.

  2. I thought your presentation was very interesting because although I do love country music, you just don't hear much about Johnny Cash besides his name these days. I thought you guys did an excellent job bringing him to life. During your presentation, I felt it was very important to express how he didn't have a filter. That quality is what made Johnny Cash himself. I love when stars can be themselves and I'm glad you expressed that.
The only thing about your presentation is I wished your video would have played because what I was listening to it seemed very interesting. Although, it was out of your control, it seemed like it would have helped your presentation more.

  3. I really enjoyed this presentation. I saw Walk the Line a few years ago, and learning about Johnny Cash really interested me. I'm a big music fan, and the fact that I don't hear any Johnny Cash music now a days, is kind of sad, and it is almost discouraging because he has been such an icon throughout the years. I really would've liked for you guys to explain a little more in depth about why how he influenced country, rock, and blues music. Was it because of his no-filter attitude or because of his music in general? Aside from that, very interesting presentation. I enjoyed it a lot.

  4. I enjoyed your presentation, something I learned was that Johnny didn't have a filter. Like when you talked about him flipping that guy off, it shows he's not afraid to show his true feelings. I may have missed this, but if not, I would have liked to learn why he doesn't get played on the radio often.

  5. I really loved your presentation, I personally don't listen to country music at all so I didn't know anything about Johnny Cash other than he was a country singer. So, this presentation helped me learn a lot about Johnny Cash, I thought it was great how you guys showed us a video of San Quentin. Also I really like the picture of Johnny flipping the bird, I thought it was hilarious. One thing I would have changed would be I wanted to know more on how he influenced country music, but overall you guys did amazing!

  6. your guys' presentation was awesome and i liked how just as Johnny Cash was himself you guys expressed a lot about yourselves as to what you mentioned about him. Johnny Cash is an icon no doubt and somebody i have listened to since i was knee high. You guys did an incredible depiction and i wish you guys along with your video would've played a track he recorded in there or maybe shown a scene from the movie walk the line or something like that? Overall your presentation was on point and i'm sure you guys could have talked about him forever so good job on not getting off topic either. Awesome presentation!

  7. It was interesting to learn that Johnny Cash did not have a filter and that he cared for people and was involved with civil rights and prison reform. Before I just thought that he was just a country singer singing songs. But then your presentation showed me more about him that I didn't know about. I do want to know why Johnny isn't played on the radio anymore or if there is any sort of controversy or criticism towards his music, but overall I learned a lot from this presentation.

  8. I think it's really interesting how Johnny Cash would perform at many different prisons. I never knew that about him. I also liked the pictures you had on the power point slides as well. I think it would have been really good if you managed to get your first video to play properly. I feel like it would have been a really interesting watch.

  9. I like how you gave a short background without giving a history lesson. You made your main points known. It was clear that you knew the facts without reading off the slides. I found that you really captured Johnny Cash in your presentation. One thing I might've changed was playing the video that didn't work. It just didn't enhance the presentation. Great Presentation overall.

  10. The more rough side of Cash was really neat to hear about. I had no clue that he had such a heart for prisoners. You guys seemed to really know your stuff and I liked how you explained everything. If the video would have worked it would have been perfect.

  11. I knew Johnny Cash would go to the prisons to perform for the inmates but I never knew that he promoted equality and was fighting to stop child abuse. It was exciting to learn the new information and I think that the pictures that you used really helped as well. The only thing that I would have liked to learn more about is his contribution to music and how he affected it. You always hear about how much of an icon he is and how much he has changed music so it would have been great to learn more about what he did in the industry. Aside from that I think your presentation was really good.

  12. I really liked your presentation. I could tell you really knew a lot about Johnny Case. You did a short back ground on the basics of him which I thought was good so it didn’t turn into a history lesson. You guys did a good job explaining and showing you knew the info without reading off the slides. I felt that the short film was confusing and didn’t add to your presentation. Other than that I really enjoyed it.

  13. I liked your icon choice for this one. I felt like he was an interesting person to learn about. I liked how you told about his desire for prisoner reform. I did not know about his free concerts for the prisoner. I wish your video had played with actual pictures. Otherwise I think you guys really drove your thesis home.

  14. love me some Johnny Cash. I liked how you guys talked about what kind of person he was. I never knew how he truly was and all the stuff he advocated for. I would have liked to know a little more about his music career though. good job

  15. Johnny Cash is one of my favorite artists of all time. He really is a one of a kind person. I grew up only listening to him. I did not know much about him even hough i loved his music. You guys really taught me a lot about this and i was very impressed with your presentation. I don't think you guys really need to fix anything.
