  1. I have always been a fan of Nikola Tesla, he's an phenomenal inventor and never received the appropriate amount of recognition. I found it really amazing how he thought of so many idea, even cellular communication! The video, I really enjoyed, it was cute and fun and lots of information. And you guys were dressed to the nines. The only thing I would critique is that it seemed like a lot of your information came form the video, I would have loved to known some more facts on Tesla and why he was the "forgotten inventor." Other than that, I enjoyed it. Science is always fun!

  2. You both did a nice job explaining the whole situation with Thomas Edison. I never knew that is why Tesla left. He definitely deserved more credit then he got! I loved the video that you played because it really expressed the important facts and also help your presentation! I loved how you guys dressed up! It looked really professional and I think that always helps a presentation. I also liked the pictures you posed on your powerpoint of his inventions. I would of liked to know more about Tesla thought. Maybe some more facts about his life. But you guys kept it interesting! Nice job!

  3. I really enjoyed learning about Nikola Tesla because he wasn't someone I was familiar with whatsoever. I really thought it was interesting how the car, Tesla, was named after him considering that he was the "forgotten inventor." My dad and I really like cars, and learning that only increased my interest. My favorite quote throughout the whole presentation was the one in the video where he is called "a classic example of the American dream." I would've liked to know a little more about Tesla's personal life and why he was later forgotten if he contributed so much. Aside from that, awesome way to start off our presentations :)

  4. I found this presentation to be very interesting. I really liked how you guys incorporated a lot of information without being boring, and I thought it was entertaining to learn about. I thought it was also interesting how Thomas Edison hired him and basically stabbed him in the back. I did not know that until this presentation. I would have like to see maybe more pictures of what he created, but overall great presentation.

  5. This was probably my favorite presentation based on the topic; and you guys did a great job as well. Something I learned was that he worked for Edison, then left to work for Westinghouse. To me, it just sounds so odd to hear that someone would stop working for Edison, but I understand considering the consequences. I would have liked to learn more about how he was forgotten over the years.

  6. I personally really loved your presentation, I thought that you gave so much information in such a short period of time and it was wonderful. I learned that Tesla worked for Edison and that he had over 700 patents and I thought that that was very cool! One thing I would have improved on is seeing more pictures of Tesla's invention, like I know what some look like but I would have loved to see more. Overall, you guys did a wonderful job.

  7. Good presentation. I learned a lot more about Tesla from this. I never knew he worked for Thomas Edison. You guys did great by just telling everything from memory. It would have been a little bit better if you had words on the slides instead of just pictures, but you did have a neat video that kinda summed everything up.

  8. First and foremost you guys were dressed for the part and started off with an incredible eagerness and readiness which made me super ready for your presentation. You guys had an incredible and vast knowledge of Tesla and can tell you guys spent hours looking over information. I have always heard about Tesla being underrated but i never knew why. I thought you guys did an awesome job explaining that and your media summed it all up for one last time! awesome media, awesome presenters, and an awesome presentation!

  9. The first thing that impressed me about the presentation was how you guys were dressed. It is an attention grabber before you even started the presentation. I learned a lot from the presentation, so obviously it was well done. I really like how you switched between one another when talking and you had a good use of pictures. You clearly knew that facts. The one thing that would have made it better was if you had made a modern day connection.

  10. You guys looked spiffy. You never looked at notes and explained Tesola well. I did not know he competed with Edison over AC current. You worked well as partners. I was slightly confused as to your topic sentences until Prf. Lohre asked at the end. Your use of media was well done. Good job guys.

  11. I really liked your presentation. I was already interested in Tesla but didn’t know a whole lot about him. You guys explained everything about him and I liked how you incorporated the picture in with what you talked about, I felt that you really knew the facts. I liked how the video summed up what you guy were talking about, I wish it was a little longer because I wanted to learn more about him. Overall great job!

  12. I liked the video you played about Tesla. The animations and drawings that were in it went with the narration very well. I liked how you guys dressed up for the presentation also. no one said anything about dressing up and you guys went ahead and took the extra step. I think if something could be improved with your presentation would be to have more information about how revolutionary his inventions were. Maybe even finding a shorter video to compensate for more time to explain the inventions.

  13. Your presentation was very very interesting to me because i like to here about people like him. Also, it was very awesome to find out that Tesla ended up coming out on top of Thomas Edison because he was such an ass to him. One thing you could improve would be that the information in your video wasn't the same information that you gave to the class because it was kind of repetitive.

  14. You started out strong with a lot of facts and figures. You kept my attention with your interesting facts such as he tried to rub two cats together to produce electricity. I think your video worked really well, but I felt like ended abruptly. I didn't hear why he was an icon.

  15. I really like your presentation! I think it is important that we learn more about Tesla. The first time that I learned about him was from a YouTube video and a little bit of research done from my curiosity but prior to that I didn't know who he was. You did a great job giving all of the facts as well as using the video to help reiterate the points and information you want to emphasize. The only thing I would have liked to seen are more pictures of his inventions, other than that great job!
