  1. What an odd man. I have seen a few of this artiest paintings, but you guys did a really good job at show a lot of his artwork, and allowing us (the audience) to really look at the piece. When we did the "eye spy" painting, that was my favorite part, there was so much going on! It makes me want to google more of his artwork. I would have liked to hear more history on each painting, or maybe one of his really iconic ones. There seemed to be a bit of repetition of loss for words at times, and by having some history facts, I think it would have helped.

  2. I absolutely loved your icon! He is such an amazing painter and I'm so glad you really got the audience involved because it really helped me understand more about Dali. He was such a creative man and I LOVED that you showed his painting and also explained them to us! If you both wouldn't have, I would have missed half of the painting it seems. I really learned from you guys that creativeness is an awesome quality to have. It's so unique and not everyone has it. I love that Dali could express himself through his work! I think that's why he was very successful.
The only thing I would have loved to hear about is more information on him. Like I said, I'm glad you shared his paintings but also more information on him would have been good to hear also! But really nice job explaining the paintings!

  3. I really liked how Austin mentioned that he wanted "audience participation" at the very beginning of the presentation, because it made me, personally, feel like he really wanted to include us and grab us so we could enjoy the presentation a lot more. I studied a few of Salvador Dali's paintings in my previous art classes, but I had never really taken into account just how peculiar and hidden certain details were. I really liked how you guys took so much time to really study the paintings and help us understand them. The one piece of constructive criticism I have is that I felt like a lot of the presentation was very repetitive and the phrase, "his paintings really make you think", seemed to be said a lot. Aside from that, I really liked your presentation.

  4. I really enjoyed your guys' presentation. It was my favorire one out of the presentations because you incorporated us into the presentation. I also felt that you guys did a really good job in teaching us about his artwork and how he basically created surrealism. I would have liked to have learned more about his most ionic paintings, but besides that I really liked the presentation

  5. I really like the pictures you guys included in your power point. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the paintings and trying to figure out different perspective of them. And I though it was interesting how he liked to kind of hide things in his works; makes them fun too look at. The only thing I would change is maybe to explain more about him as a person.

  6. This was my favorite presentation of the day, I thought the way that you incorporated the class was beautifully done! You're pictures were phenomenal, the pictures you got fro Dali were the ones that I would have chosen myself. They showed what Dali was like and how his art portrayed different meanings. The one thing I would change is that you showed a to of his work but did not really go into detail about who he was as a person, not just an artist.

  7. I really liked that you asked the class to try and find the hidden objects in the pictures. To me that was creative. I enjoyed looking at all the pictures because sometimes there is something there they I may not have noticed or the pictures may have some sort of a feature to it like a face form. I would suggest that maybe you could've talked about him as a person and maybe find out if there was any controversy or criticism about his artwork. Overall, great job.

  8. I really enjoyed your guys' presentations for your participation which i looked forward to from the start of the presentation when you guys had asked for participation to it actually happening. What i didn't know about Dali was how many of his paintings i had actually seen and just didn't know they were his. I loved how you guys brought Dali to life with his paintings and what he contributed to this world! I would say overall it was a really good presentation on your part and even though there was some saving done in dead spots you guys didn't let the presentation reflect that for a second.Awesome job guys and I wanna be sure to check out more of Dali!

  9. My favorite thing about the presentation was that you guys got the audience involved. That was a great choice. I thought you explained his strangeness well and you provided facts the supported why he is an icon. The one thing I would change is maybe adding a little about his life outside of being an artist. Overall, I thought this was a great presentation.

  10. You guys were my favorite presentation. I liked how you engaged the audience. I could tell that you guys really analyzed the works that you showed us. I did not know that he included religion in his art. I thought he was just crazy but there is actually rationale meaning behind it. I would have liked to hear from both if you equally. I feel like Austin did most of the talking. Other than that I was really impressed. Good job.

  11. I've seen Salvador's paintings before, but I didn't know the man behind them. His paintings are literally everywhere. I also didn't know what the genre of surrealism was until your presentation. I think your presentation was very information about his paintings and how his painting were very famous. I think having more information about Salvador Dali would have been nice. Like how he lived everyday and maybe even how he spoke to people. Since we can see from the picture that he isn't an ordinary person.

  12. I had heard of Dali before, but i really had no idea just how amazing he was. Your presentation was very on point. You guys presented it well and really allowed for the rest of the class to participate in your presentation. I really liked how you shoed all the different pictures and all the different things in each picture. If i had to change one thing, I maybe would have printed off some of the pictures to allow us to further participate along with you.

  13. ive seen some of his paintings but never knew that there was so much thought behind them. I really liked how you guys showed a range of his paintings and helped us see all the things that are happening inside of them. I would have like to know a little more about Mr.Dali himself though. good job

  14. I have seen Dali's paintings before but I never really took the time to look into the meanings of them. I really loved that your presentation incorporated us, it made it fun and interactive. I also enjoyed playing "I Spy" with the paintings. I appreciate the fact that you both took the time to analyze the paintings that you put into your slide show, you really knew what you were talking about. The only thing I would have like to learn more about is Dali himself, other than that great job!

  15. I really like art like that. I think it is fun to be able to see interesting things in the paintings. It really shows a lot about the person and what they were like. He was quite and odd man but also very interesting. I would've liked to know a little bit more about his background. Overall, Great job.
